Terms of service.

The terms we work under, in plain words. A signed proposal for a specific project overrides anything here that contradicts it. Last updated 9 October 2026.

Scope and quotes

Every project is quoted against a written scope: the pages or features, the price and the timeline. A quote is valid for 30 days. Work outside that scope is a new quote rather than a surprise on the invoice, and we will tell you before we do it, not after.

Payment

Unless the proposal says otherwise, a deposit is due before work starts and the balance on delivery. Invoices are payable within the period stated on them. Prices exclude taxes and any third-party costs such as domains, hosting or paid APIs, which are listed in the proposal when we know of them.

Your part

Projects need content, access and decisions from you. We will tell you clearly what we need and when. If a project stalls waiting on those for a long stretch, the timeline moves and we may need to requote the remainder; we will say so rather than quietly dropping it.

Who owns the work

On final payment, the deliverables we built for you are yours, including the source code we wrote for your project. We keep ownership of our own general tooling, libraries and internal systems that predate or outlive your project, and of anything we licensed rather than wrote. We may show the public parts of the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Third-party services

Most projects depend on services we do not control: hosting, a domain registrar, a payment gateway, a model provider. We will name them, but their uptime, pricing and terms are theirs. If one of them changes something that breaks your project, fixing it is work, and we will quote it honestly.

AI output

AI systems are probabilistic. A system we build for you can be wrong, and we design for that: limits, logs, and a human in the loop wherever a mistake would matter. You are responsible for what your system sends out in your name, and we will build the controls that make that manageable, including caps, approvals and an audit trail. We do not promise any specific accuracy rate, ranking, deliverability or business result, and we will not pretend otherwise to win work. How we handle data in these systems is in the privacy policy.

Support after launch

We fix defects in what we built, at no charge, for the period stated in the proposal. New features, content changes and third-party breakage after that are ordinary work, quoted as usual.

Liability

Our total liability for any project is limited to the fees you paid us for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost data, beyond that. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending an engagement

Either of us can end an engagement in writing. You pay for work completed to that point and we hand over what has been paid for. No hostages: we will not withhold your domain, your content or your accounts.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts there have jurisdiction, unless a signed proposal says otherwise.
