Twenty-four seats around one fire

There is no gas line in this building and no induction hob. Everything on the menu is cooked on a single wood-fired grill in the middle of the room, which is also why the room is warm and smells the way it does.

The counter

Eight seats facing the flame

The counter runs along the grill. You will feel the heat, you will see every course leave, and the cook who made your plate is the one who puts it down in front of you.

We hold four counter seats back for walk-ins from 18:45 each night. The other four can be booked.

The room

Sixteen seats, four tables

Tables of two and four around the edge of the room, far enough from the fire to talk and close enough to watch. Lighting is low and deliberately uneven — most of it comes from the grill.

We do not play music during service. The room is loud enough with twenty-four people and a fire in it.

Private dining

Take the whole room

For ten to sixteen guests we close one seating and the room is yours. The menu can stay as written or we can build it around what you want to eat.

The early seating

10—16 guests · ₹6,400 per guest

19:00 until 21:00, the room to yourselves, the menu as written plus two extra courses. Wine pairing optional.

The late seating

10—16 guests · ₹7,200 per guest

21:00 until close, no following service, so the evening runs as long as it runs. Includes the cellar list at cost plus corkage.

A menu of your own

Tell us what the occasion is and the chef will write a menu for it. Two weeks' notice, one tasting beforehand for you and one guest.

Fire is the only ingredient we never change. Everything else is whatever the week gave us.
